What is the purpose of this tool?

To provide information about the boundaries of the federal electoral districts at the different stages of the redistribution process.

How can I find my electoral district?

By using the search tool and selecting “Electoral Districts.” You can also use the list of electoral districts on the left-hand side of the app.

How can I see the boundaries for an electoral district?

By using the search tool, the list of electoral districts in the panel on the left, or the navigation tools. When you choose a district, the app will zoom in and centre the map on it.

How can I navigate within the map?

The MV has navigation tools such as Zoom in, Zoom out and Default view. You can use the Panning function by left-clicking and holding down the mouse button.

How can I get the description of an electoral district at a specific stage of the redistribution process?

Use the pop-up window after you click on the polygon of an electoral district on the map to view the description.

What is the difference between current boundaries and proposed boundaries?

The current boundaries are the current federal electoral district boundaries as defined in the 2013 Representation Order. They have been in effect since May 1, 2014.

The proposed boundaries ;are those suggested by each electoral boundaries commission under each province of the 2022 Redistribution of Federal Electoral Districts.

Is there a way to print a map from the MV?

No, there is no print option available in the MV.
