I see many things wrong with the current borders and the formula.

Rep-by-pop should be the goal. If our tiniest jurisdictions have to join a neighbour, do be it. There are only 3 places in Canada where rep-by-pop is even close. Sneaky, anti-democratic deals should not allow some voters to have 2 or 3 times the weight as do other Canadians. This applies to ridings which are not close to the national 121k average. The House is reaching unwieldy numbers. Your target should be toward 300 MPs not 400 or more in future years.

It is not right that ridings are as diverse as they seem to be. Others have suggested that building ridings of bedroom communities and suburbs is better than having it half rural and half urban.

For the benefit of those canvassing, please draw the boundaries along the back property lines, not the middle of streets. Poll boundaries should never be along the middle of a street. The closest poll place is the same for either side of the street.
