Amy MacAdam
My name is Amy MacAdam. I live in West Saint John. I strongly believe that my interests would be better served if there was one MP for the City of Saint John. I do not feel that the interests of citizens of Charlotte county are the same as my interests.
I am a CPA and I have a Masters of Public Administration and work for the federal government in Saint John. By having multiple MPs for the City of Saint John, there will be less development and less opportunities for collaboration.
I think that rural interests are different than urban interests and MPs for should represent logical geographic boundaries. I understand the populations may be greater in urban ridings, but Prince Edward Island has 4 MPs for the same population as Saint John.
