The proposed new boundary for the electoral ridings around Thunder Bay is very concerning to us.
Our home in the Mun. of Oliver-Paipoonge is only a 15 minute drive from Thunder Bay where we and our neighbours work, shop, recreate and our children go to high school. This is a bedroom community for Thunder Bay. The proposed new boundary would cut us out of Thunder Bay and put us in with Atikokan and Kenora, all the way to the Manitoba border.
Please consider putting that new boundary about 70 km west of where you presently have it, approximately where the time zone changes from EST to CST. That is an area of mainly forest and is already considered to be a type of boundary, a place of change.
