Written submissions extended to October 29, 2022

The Electoral Boundaries Commission for the Province of Ontario is very pleased with the interest of the public and elected officials in our proposal. We welcome their input.

To accommodate the large number of participants registered for the hearings, we will schedule more of them and notify participants of their dates.

Given these numbers, oral submissions at the in-person and virtual hearings will need to be brief.

Consequently, participants may also wish to file a written submission, although unnecessary, if their suggestions cannot be outlined within the time available at the hearing. The written submissions may be filed with the Commission until October 29, 2022.

In these circumstances and to make the process fair for all, the Commission will also accept written submissions from those not participating in a hearing by this same deadline.
