I know this is pointless.

But perhaps if enough people say it, somebody will do something. There are dozens of rural ridings across the country with less than 50,000 electors. I live in a riding in a big city with more than 75,000 electors.

My vote is, at best, worth only two thirds of a rural vote.

This distortion of democracy is electing Parliaments that do not represent the country. Canada is one of the most urbanized countries in the world. Nearly three quarters of us live in big cities. And we are governed by an unrepresentative collection of small town, special interest politicians.
