I live in the current federal riding of Brampton North. Its been my home for over 20 years. The proposed boundary map has the riding re-established and called Brampton-Chinguacousy. This name however does not adequately reflect the history and the heart of the riding; Springdale.
Springdale is a part of North Brampton that is home to a large community of individuals who take pride in where they live and raise their children.
I am proposing that the name be changed from Brampton-Chinguacousy to Brampton-Springdale to better reflect the wishes and attitudes of the people of this proposed riding.
