Thank you for the opportunity to comment on electoral boundary changes.
Returning Otonabee-South Monaghan to the Peterborough riding is a welcome change. We had reason to contact both the MP (Cobourg) and the MPP (Port Hope) while we were in the Durham riding. They were helpful but not familiar with our area.
The same problem will be created for Cavan, but that Twp will be split between 3 ridings. You will hear plenty about it and would have to revisit in the next redistribution if the change stands.
Maintaining the south shore of Rice Lake and the Trent River as the southern boundary makes sense to me, though the people of Roseneath and Alderville FN may have other views.
