There is one small area south of Rice Lake that is not proposed to be in the Northumberland riding. South of Rice Lake IS Northumberland County, and municipal, provincial and federal issues deal with this county, and not Peterborough County or the city.
This would mean that our MP would ignore anything to do with our local concerns as all Peterborough concerns would outweigh any issues we would have.
We would have no physical connection to the rest of the riding, as a body of water, a lake, is an obstruction.
Identify how this makes sense.
