I heartily support Ms. Oda's objection to any electoral boundary changes to the electoral district of Northumberland – Peterborough South. Changing the boundaries for Clarington would definitely not benefit the rural interests of the eastern end of that municipality. Too often changes are implemented to reflect expediency without giving due consideration to the interests and/or concerns of the electorate.
I sincerely hope that you give studied reconsideration to this proposal
