I am writing to say I am very pleased with the renaming of my federal riding. It is a beautiful symbol of reconciliation that you have chosen two Indigenous words to reflect our district which is steeped in the history of the coming together of First Nations and Europeans.
Many who want to remain stuck in the past will disagree. It's time to ignore the angry voices and embrace a future of hope and positive anticipation of what we can create together.
