I'm the chair of the federal liberal association in the Simcoe-Grey district in Ontario. I completely agree with the boundaries' change which include the towns of "Collingwood, The Blue Mountains and Wasaga Beach; the Municipality of Grey Highlands; the townships of Clearview, Essa and Mulmur; and that part of the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio lying northerly of Highway 89 and Young Street".
Giving this list of towns etc, it's obvious that the proposed district name of "Collingwood - Blue Mountains" does not acknowledge the others towns etc, for the proposed district boundaries. My suggestion is to name the new district as "South Georgian Bay" that defines this geographical area as being in the south of Georgian Bay. Furthermore, it will facilitate our EDA's management in keeping our current acronym SGFLA (Simcoe-Grey Federal Liberal Association) or (South Georgian Bay Federal Liberal Association), along with our EDA website sgfla.ca
