Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Ontario to cut Scarborough from six seats to five and Toronto from 25 seats to 24.

As a founding member of the SCRO through Scarborough Rotary Clubs and Past President and Founding Member of the Scarborough Twilight Rotary Club

It is with mixed emotions I am prepared to Not to support this SCRO Petition.

We need to reduce the boundaries and the Seats. We are seeing an increase in Career Politicians in Scarborough with little to NO benefits to the people in Scarborough

We have succeeded in fragmenting the Scarborough community with pass redistricting to accommodate the multi cultural initiatives which have not served to promote more inclusion in Scarborough.

There should be only One Scarborough community representing all people of Scarborough equally.

Instead, we now have every ethnic group competing to have their own interest served.

The housing and overcrowding in local communities can only lead to more problems in the future.

Housing has only become a problem because of the Poor immigration policies both at the Federal and Municipal levels. Large migration of unqualified and unskilled workers on the Canadian welfare support system only encourage individuals to game the welfare system and live off the Grants and social welfare we currently continue to hand out. Skill workers in good paying jobs are needed in Scarborough.

We need to make new immigrants independent and self supporting in good paying jobs.

Single parent families are finding it difficult to support themselves only because they are encouraged to declare the income below 23K$ to avoid paying their fair share of taxes and to be able to get financial support.

Migrants from countries where they are collecting pensions and do not need to file taxes in those countries and coming to Canada and applying for OAS subsidies while Canadians on OAS and Company pensions are being told they do not qualify because they are earning over 23K$.

IMHO it has succeeded in encouraging the segregation of the Scarborough communities into multiple immigrant community. These groups within the Scarborough Community only serve individuals and their own best interest. Similar to the countries from which they are coming.

The mass influx of immigrants and the burden on our support systems when large families are forced to use these support systems to provide food and shelter for their families, spell a recipe for disaster to future generations.

We do not need more people talking about these problems we need more people doing something to fix the problem.

Canada is a society of inclusion and we do not always get it right But over the last decade the Scarborough community has seen a growth in Career Politicians represent their own interest.

We have see the expansion of Rooming Houses for profit in single family homes and the questionable approvals for building and inspecting the legality of these construction projects in some of our neighbourhoods.

Families are beginning to leave once close nit communities as they watch their neighbourhoods turned into commercial multi family rental units and rooming house and nothing is being done to put a stop to this practice.

I hope this matter is resolved in the best interest for the people of Scarborough And not to preserve politician jobs. Just like companies are restructuring their workforce to become more efficient, it is time for the government to restructure itself too better and more effectively serve the people of Scarborough.

The only good thing if anything after Covid-19 in the workplace is working from home, We are now seeing how much more we can do with less talkers and more doer's in the workplace ?

I hope this matter is resolved for a better Scarborough Community.

Dave
