I have two questions:
- Why was it decided that Parkdale-High Park, amongst all the other Ridings, required a name change?
- Having decided this, why did the proposal not come up with Parkdale-Taiaiako'n as Taiaiako'n was a township in what is now part of High Park and not Parkdale?
I assume that the current configuration of the name insults the indigenous people as much as those in the Riding, who would have expected some consultation.
