My name is Brandon Machado, I am a proud resident of York South – Weston. I am very concerned about the current York South – Weston and Davenport ridings. I am hearing that the Davenport Riding would like to take the Amesbury area. If Davenport does take the Amesbury area. People in the Amesbury and Keelesdale areas will be very confused. I would like the current York South – Weston riding to stay the same. I would like current York South – Weston riding to keep the Amesbury and Keelesdale areas. The City of Toronto including York South – Weston does not need 24 ridings. The City of Toronto needs 25 ridings. The current York South – Weston riding is still growing. I would ask the commission to please protect the current York South – Weston riding the same. The current York South – Weston riding is home to a diverse community of Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino and many more. The Davenport riding does not need the Amesbury and Keelesdale areas. I would like the current Davenport riding to stay the same. The current York South – Weston riding is home to a lot of Business Improvement Areas. If you get rid of the current York South – Weston riding people will not be able to us the Mount Dennis LRT Station, No Frills and York Recreation Centre. So please protect the current York South – Weston riding the same.
