Thank you so much for the chance to participate in this process and the opportunity to provide you with my own feedback.

I live in the riding of Etobicoke Centre, and I would like to share with you my thoughts on your proposal for this riding.

I'm very pleased to see that the commission is proposing shifting the northern boundary from Dixon Rd. to the 401, which I believe is the natural" boundary between Etobicoke Centre and Etobicoke North and it allows our communities just south of the 401 to stay together.

For example, with the inclusion of the areas south of the 401 and north of Dixon Rd. in Etobicoke Centre keeps the neighbourhood of Kingsview-Village-The Westway together. The commission may have taken this into consideration, but this neighbourhood has been established by Toronto's municipal government to organize city services.

It is also great to see the commission proposing to return the Willowridge community back to Etobicoke Centre.

This community was placed in Etobicoke North in the last round of redistributing riding boundaries. While in Etobicoke North, Willowridge was basically a secluded community quite further away from its neighbouring communities. Residents in Willowridge would have to travel a few kilometers past two major highways (401 and 409) and through a large industrial zone before they would reach neighbouring communities in Etobicoke North. This didn't make sense and placed a burden on residents. I have always considered Willowridge as part of my neighbourhood.

Having Willowridge back in Etobicoke Centre is the right idea.

Thank you very much for taking the time to consider my opinion.

Yours truly,

Cinna Faveri
