How can you kill off a whole 150 year old community? Are we next, being low-income and dealing with widespread trauma?
"Parkdale was founded as an independent settlement within York County in the 1850s.[2] It was incorporated as a village in 1879 and amalgamated with Toronto in 1889."
Better yet, let High Park be its own tony self and let Parkdale exist acknowledging its Indigenous Roots, as well as being the largest Tibetan Diaspora.
