I'm a senior and I live in the part of Scarborough that you are thinking of changing to North York. This idea does not make me happy. More people are coming to live here all the time and we should have more representation in government - not less.
It is also not good to have the possibility of property tax going up. I still live in the same place, yet suddenly one day I have to pay more for this privilege, just because someone arbitrarily changed the boundaries around me.
Please think again of what is going to happen to all the seniors and immigrants in this area.
