Please do not divide Leaside. It is a former town (until 1967) and still retains a very strong community identity. Even now we speak of Leaside and "the other side of Bayview". Bayview is a logical break between ridings but Eglinton is not. North Leaside (north of Eglinton) and South Leaside (south of Eglinton) are one community. Thorncliffe Park is more closely allied with South Leaside than with North Leaside as the Thorncliffe kids have traditionally come there to trick or treat on Hallowe'en. All Leaside schools have been generous to Thorncliffe Park.
Leaside (south and north) share a high school, a library, the Leaside Memorial Gardens etc. Please do not artificially divide us.
Have you considered lopping off the top part of the riding (say 401 to Lawrence or Sunnybrook Hospital) and assigning it someplace else? That would make more sense.
