I am a proud immigrant from Scarborough and I ask you to keep the existing Scarborough-Agincourt boundaries.

With the redistribution it will impact current business, communities and the identity of the Scarborough residents who call Scarborough home. We also have lost much with the amalgamation where we were amalgamated but not integrated. This boundary is the first line into Scarborough from the west and north, and by having this representation at city hall - we can push for the investments required for most diverse part of the GTA from end to end with a keen understanding of the needs that are unique to Scarborough.

Investment from governments at all levels lacks in Scarborough from healthcare, public transportation (we have buses and no direct routes of LRT or Subway to U of T Scarborough, the zoo or Rouge Urban national park) to arts. The diversity of Scarborough-Agincourt is critical to our identity, diversity and the fabric of what makes Scarborough unique and amazing.

Why is it that Scarborough looses another seat - because we are primarily made up of immigrants and do not have enough lobbying powers? We cannot afford to loose one more voice at city hall and it is imperative to ensure Scarborough remains in tact as a whole with 6 representatives. Especially as our population is increasing and representative of the diverse make-up that gives us our identity. Imagine if one part of Canada becomes the US - it takes away the identify, history and fabric that makes us a whole united country. Scarborough is the same - we aren't the same without these parts of Warden, Victoria Park, Pharmacy and McNicoll. These residents, businesses and communities are Scarborough.

Please don't take more from Scarborough.

Thank you,

Krishma
