Grace Chum

I have been residing in Cardwell Avenue (Kennedy and Sheppard) & Bamburgh Circle (McNicoll and Warden) since 1986 and I enjoyed living in my townhouse & condo unit and I missed my neighbours, but then when my late husband passed away, I have to move to a smaller unit in North York and I missed my former home in Scarborough Agincourt. I moved to north of York Mills and Yonge of North York, and I found the environment, the community services & organizations are not as good as my previous homes.

The property tax is higher than Scarborough Agincourt and the neighbours are not so friendly.

So I can see why the present residents in Scarborough-Agincourt are not happy to be combined with Scarborough North and cut some part to North York..

I have a lot of friends still living in Scarbough-Agincourt and they expressed that they are very satisfied with their M.P. Jean Yip's performance because she works so hard to serve the constituents.

If we are going to cut the existing 6 ridings into 5, there will be less time serviced to each of the ridings, while Scarborough -Agincourt have a lot new comers from HK who choose to reside in Scarborough.

AS a former resident of Scarborough-Agincourt, I am sending this message to plead your kindness to keep the existing 6 ridings as they are.

There will be more happy faces and less mental wellness patients.

Grace Chum with regards
