My name is Gina Tse, a lifelong resident of Scarborough, Agincourt. If this proposed redistribution of the Scarborough border, I would be affected by this change, and would be considered North York.

This is a decision that would reduce the representation for Scarborough, which has always been swept to the side, and ignored since the inception of the Megacity. It is not fair or necessary to go through with this redistribution, doing this is limiting the voices of those residents who live, and work in the community.

The businesses who have worked hard to grow, and better Scarborough who are affected by these actions, are just going to be under North York? Identity matters! They built their business, their name, their livelihoods in Scarborough! Why uproot it?

Yes, it might be only electoral boundaries. But why? Why limit the voices of Scarborough residents?

Please, please, please do not go through with this motion. It is not in the best interest of those who actually live in Scarborough.
