This email is regarding the proposed federal redistribution of wards in Scarborough Ontario. I am writing to request that the Scarborough Centre riding maintain its western boundary as-is at Victoria Park, instead of shifting the western boundary line to Warden Avenue. Scarborough is a place and community distinct from Don Valley East and shifting this boundary would rip an identity away from the neighbourhoods thrown out of the Scarborough riding. As a resident of this riding, I would not like to see this happen. Alternatively, the Don Valley East riding name should change to include "Scarborough West".
