I'm writing to express my strong support of redistribution of the current Don Valley West riding.
The established power structures and interest groups in this ward have ossified beyond repair, and a territorial shake up might very well be the only way to release the area from their detrimental influence.
Our residents' association is a classicist country club dead set on defending the status quo.
Our councillor is an impossible to unseat incumbent ignoring the wellbeing of all her constituents who are not wealthy homeowners.
Like all MPPs, our member of the provincial parliament is beholden to their party, i.e. a lost cause when it comes to being an agent of change.
This is why I firmly believe a redistribution is the only way to break up the hold these forces have over current Don Valley West, which they treat like their own little fiefdom.
I am sure that, in a representative display of their entitled mindset, you are going to get many letters from these groups. Please keep in mind that for each one you receive there are multiple people who think the opposite, but who don't have the time to write letters because they have to work for a living.
