I recently took part in a survey to support Mark Gerretsen in his bid to have certain areas that were under the Kingston and the Islands boundary to be returned here again for the following reasons:
- My taxes are paid to the City of Kingston.
- My police and fire services are with Kingston.
- My social, cultural and economic activities are all in Kingston. Everything from groceries, entertainment and meeting with friends and family for special occasions.
- The whole time that we have been associated with Carleton Place I have never spoken or seen my MPP.
- If I need anything from the federal level I would go and see Mark Gerretsen. His constituency office is in Kingston which is approximately 10 minutes away as versus an hour to Brockville.
Please let us vote where we live.
