I am writing to let you know that I would like the area I live in to be included back into Kingston and the Islands federal riding boundary as opposed to having it included in the proposed riding of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott.

My interests totally align with Kingston and the Islands rather than the new proposed riding of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott. These include:

1. I share police and fire services with Kingston.
2. My social, cultural and economic activity all centres around Kingston; grocery shopping, dry cleaning, banking, pharmacy etc.
3. I pay taxes to the City of Kingston.
4. All my health care providers are in Kingston; doctor, dentist, physiotherapy etc.
5. My church is in Kingston as well as all related activities; bazaars, dinners, Bible studies etc.
6. I am 76 years old and no longer drive on the 401, I require provincial and federal services readily available. The constituency office would be approximately 10 km in Kingston. It is ridiculous to even consider having it in a Brockville!
