Recently I learned through the local news that every 10 years the commission reviews the electoral boundaries and ours is being reviewed. I live approximately 3 minutes north of the 401 and have never understood why we were removed from Kingston and islands in the first place and moved to Lanark Frontenac Kingston. This has created a sense of no representation from MPs as they know little of our concerns and I as a voter know nothing of their political views. Also it is much further to drive in order to vote. My taxes are paid to the City of Kingston. This suggestion to move us to Leeds and Grenville Thousands Island Rideau Lakes is absolutely nonsense. If any changes are to be made move us back to Kingston and the Islands where we belong.
