I am contacting you today from the beautiful city of Kingston, my home town for the last 40 years. I am concerned about the Electoral Boundary being changed. I live within the city limits of Kingston and as such pay my property tax to Kingston. However, I live north of the 401 and don't get to vote in the Kingston and the Islands riding. I think this is wrong. I would like my vote to directly affect how things are run in our city. I work, shop, and, eat in restaurants in Kingston. I am the Vice President of the largest hockey association in this city (Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association), and I coach a 14U baseball team that represents Kingston (...that recently won the Premier Baseball League of Ontario Championship - for Kingston).
My family takes a lot of pride in being Kingstonians, we would like to vote in the Kingston and the Islands riding so that we can do our part in contributing to the decisions being made here...decisions that directly affect us.
