I have recently been informed that my federal riding boundary is being proposed to belong to Gananoque/Brockville/Prescott. My address is xxxxx, Kingston Ontario, xxxxxx. Please look at a map and look at where I am living. If there would be a change at all, I should belong to the riding of Kingston.

I work and live in Kingston. I shop in Kingston. I pay my property taxes to the City of Kingston. The police force that covers my area is Kingston Police (not OPP, not Gan PD, not Brockville PD), the ambulances that are closest to my area come from bases located in Kingston, and the Fire service that protects me and my home are from the Kingston Fire Department. I am a member of the Kingston Tennis Club, my family Dr is in Kingston, and my appointments are all in Kingston. I have absolutely no relationship with Leeds and Grenville aside from travelling there as a tourist, and I certainly do not want to drive dozens of kms to Leeds and Grenville to vote in a riding I have no business voting in.

I'm going to call it what it is: the proposed change is the most prime example of gerrymandering I have

ever experienced. I was never consulted, I was never informed. There was no knock on my door, no letter in my mailbox, no poll or survey. I had to find out from a neighbour about my own riding.

I am sending this email so that you can hear my voice (since I was never consulted) and understand I am vehemently against the proposed change, and would in fact prefer to belong to Kingston & Frontenac Islands (instead of Frontenac and Lanark).
