As a resident of Kingston, I would like to highlight how our family interests do not align with the new proposed riding of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott but rather they align more with Kingston and the Islands.
- We share police and fire services with Kingston
- Our your social, cultural, and economic activity all center around Kingston NOT Gananoque, Brockville, or Prescott.
- We pay property taxes to the City of Kingston NOT Gananoque, Brockville, or Prescott.
- The distance to the constituency office would be 13kms in Kingston versus 90 km in Brockville.
