I understand that it is under consideration that our electoral districts be changed so that my current electoral area will be revised and part of another. I am concerned about this because we do not share common interests with the residents of the communities that Kingston and the Islands would be joined in with as an electoral district. Such a decision would be detrimental to our uniqueness and minimize the historical significance of our region with Kingston having been the first capital of Canada. I ask that you reconsider this proposal. As a resident of Kingston, I am vehemently opposed to this proposition. I look forward to hearing back about what should be the plan to abolish this idea.
