I am writing in support of changing the current electoral boundary for residents who live north of the 401 to Kingston, ON. I will list several reasons why this is a great idea:
- Police, Fire, and Ambulance services are shared with Kingston.
- Visiting Kingston is preferred for shopping, groceries, social activities. As it is easier to get to.
- Residents who live in this area pay property taxes to Kingston. Not to Gananoque, Brockville, or Prescott.
- Saving gas and commuting less would also be a great benefit to changing the electoral boundary for this area.
