I am emailing so that my voice can be heard in federal electoral boundaries redistribution process as I'm very concerned about the proposed changes.

I live north of the 401 in Kingston, ON at 2211 Shepherd Drive, kingston, on, k0h 1s0. I am 20 mins from downtown where my children attend school, where we shop for groceries, attend social events and activities, where my husband and I work, and where we live our every day lives. As we pay taxes to the City of Kingston, all of our services, such as police and fire, are provided by Kingston.

I have never understood why, as citizens living in Kingston, we are not represented by the Kingston and the Islands federal riding. I have never felt well represented by my MP and lumping us in with the proposed riding of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott will further perpetuate this problem. While I may live "countryside", I am still a Kingstonian and feel I will be better represented by an MP who understands the city and regions concerns.

Having my constituency office 90kms away versus 10km makes it inaccessible - full stop! This is unacceptable and further perpetuates the rural/urban divide.

I am strongly opposed to the proposed change and am strongly advocating for my address/region to be included in the boundary where I live - Kingston and the Islands.
