I live in Kingston. I live north of the 401, within the city boundary. I pay my taxes to Kingston. Downtown Kingston is 15Km from my house.

IN 2013 the Boundaries Commission fo Ontario adjusted the Kingston and the Islands' electoral boundary to exclude my part of Kingston from the Kingston and the Islands area.

This has been counter productive. I can't imagine why someone living in Kingston is in an electoral area that is centered in Smith's Falls, or why anyone would imagine we should be in an area that is centered in Brockville when we are geographically located in Kingston,

Neither Smith's falls nor Brockville receive our municipal taxes, they go to Kingston.

it is ludicrous for us to be placed in a jurisdiction that is 85 or 110 KIm from home, when our true home constituency office is 15 km from the door.

This needs to be fixed.

and it can be fixed by repairing the damage that was done to our electoral boundary to what it was before 2013.

I would like to attend any meetings about this, in person or in zoom, and would be very happy to speak to this issue in front of anybody.
