I understand that a suggestion has been put forward that the portion of the current riding of Kingston and the Islands in which I reside be combined with a riding that includes Gananoque, Prescott, and Brockville. I strongly oppose this suggestion as we live within the city of Kingston, all of our community services and amenities are Kingston based and we do not share common interests with these other communities.
Such a proposal is detrimental to our sense of community and will affect our quality of service from our elected officials
