I live in Kingston immediately north of the 401 and wish to advise my dissatisfaction with the new proposed riding for our area of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott. This makes no sense for these reasons:
- all social or economic activity is in Kingston not Brockville or Prescott
- our property taxes are paid to City of Kingston
- police and fire services are in Kingston
- constituency office would be 10 km away not 90 km or more in Brockville or Prescott
I am a lifelong resident of Kingston and feel our area definitely should be in Kingston & the Islands riding. Thanks for your time.
