To Whom it May Concern,
We, the executive of the Dacre and Area Community Association Incorporated support our mayor, Brian Hunt, and council in opposing the redrawing of the riding lines of the Greater Madawaska Township from Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke to Lanark-Frontenac.
We do not believe there is any benefit to the change. We would have a very long drive to visit a constituency office. We also feel we would have to build new relationships with a new MP and potentially MPP — starting all over in fact.
The majority of our members were born and raised in our Renfrew County home and want to remain in our Renfrew County home!
