I've heard of the plans to merge Ward 7 (North Oakville Burlington) with Milton and/or Georgetown, and I highly disagree.

The area's population is growing like crazy with tons of development either recently completed or in progress, and it doesn't make sense to merge in the first place. It should remain as is.

If a merge were to be considered, it should be with another area in Oakville, not with another completely different and relatively far away community that would have a different set of specifics and problems. This doesn't make sense and will lead to our ward being deprioritized.
