As a resident of that area of north Burlington just above Highway 407, I strenuously object to the proposal to have our area lopped off to be included in a new riding that stretches almost to the southern boundary of Guelph. There is just no way that residents of our area can get proper representation if, for instance the elected representative comes from Milton West or beyond, of for that matter for them if the situation is reversed. We do not have anything in common with Milton nor the far northern, rural reaches of Halton, not today, not down the road. We need proper representation, and this will not provide it. There must be more thought that goes into redistribution than just numbers.
