It has been brought to my attention that a proposal is in place to alter the Halton Hills federal riding boundary in a way that will effectively split the town of Halton Hills into two separate ridings.
I feel that this is unacceptable to divide a town with relively small population.
The communities of Acton and Georgetown have had a shared history for many years and proceeding with this division would culturally harm this community.
I urge you to reconsider and avoid this unfair division.
