I live in the north-west area of Burlington. Under the new proposal, this area would be part of a Milton riding. Looking at the distribution, the riding would be primarily a Milton riding with a very small part of Burlington. While both Milton and Burlington are part of Halton Region and have similar concerns, they are also distinctly separate communities. I do not support the idea of this area of Burlington being included in a Milton riding. As a Burlington resident I don't feel my concerns/issues would be adequately represented by a Milton MP. I strongly feel the boundary should more closely follow the city/town boundaries and not be set by population alone.
