The proposal made by the Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Ontario includes a change to the Mississauga Lakeshore boundary. The western boundary between Dundas St. & the Queensway moves from Mavis Road east to Stillmeadow Road. There are two elementary schools within that neighbourhood area, Mary Fix Catholic and Cashmere Public. Families in this community living east of Stillmeadow Road send their children to these schools. The western boundary should be moved to the next major thoroughfare east of Mavis Road in the area, to Confederation Parkway.
