RE: Northern Ontario Electoral Boundaries Redistribution
Dear Mr. Oslund,
At a recent council meeting held on September 12, 2022 Gore Bay Council reviewed your resolution regarding the Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission's proposal to eliminate a Federal Riding in Northern Ontario.
Please be advised that the Town of Gore Bay supports the Township of Coleman in their efforts to petition the withdrawal of the proposal as the redistribution plan will have a negative effect on representation of Northern Ontario.
