Introduction
This submission is presented as an argument against the current proposed redistribution for the federal electoral districts of Kanata-Carleton and Carleton in the west-end of the city of Ottawa affecting the neighbourhood of Stittsville.
Overall - the recommendation of this submission is to not divide the community of Stittsville into a north and south between two electoral districts.
Rather, Stittsville is one community and its geography based political representation should be reflective of this reality.
