I greatly support the idea of Kanata losing the rural areas as it is too culturally different form kanata itself. That small corner of Glen Cairn is isolated fromt he rest of Carleton in your proposal and it is right now in Kanata because the samething happend with initial draft of 10 years ago I think if I recall correctly and they were givne back to kanata as part of feedback.

Comments:
I hav many friends living in Carlington from my program at Carelrton where i go to school right now. They all do their activities eiother at the mall near base line and clyde or they do it in westboro norht of 417,or along carling to the east and west of 417. I can see from my experiece interacting with them that they have more to do with ottawa centre than with the nepean souther surburbs.
