Every time there's been changes to boundaries, the question seems to be: with whom can we stick south Kitchener to make a riding? (It was first the folks in Wilmot township, etc., then the folks in Hespeler -- which made sense for an urban riding. We've come full circle again, pairing south Kitchener with a different township.)

I suggest that these mixed urban/rural ridings aren't in the best interest of either urban or rural voters.

North Dumfries covers quite an area, especially with that section east of Cambridge. I'm not sure that folks who live out there share the same concerns as folks in my neighbourhood. I'm also not sure folks in villages like Ayr, for example, would feel that their issues are best represented by an MP from an urban/rural riding.

Surely there is a formula with the requisite population distribution that would keep south Kitchener within an urban boundary.
