Re: Proposed Boundary Changes with Lambton – Kent – Middlesex
Dear Paula Puddy,
I am writing this letter to express concern to the proposed boundary changes within Lambton – Kent – Middlesex, as I have grown up in this region of Ontario and my family/kin continue to reside within this area.
Residents within neighbouring Counties conduct their business within Lambton – Kent – Middlesex, their children attend schools in these countries.
Residents of Ontario are already struggling with the cost of inflation. Residents within Lambton – Kent – Middlesex who live in one part, could potentially be negatively impacted as they could face a different taxation rate pending on the new boundary they reside; which will further have an impact on the communities and recreation within and the surrounding areas.
Accommodating the proposed fluctuations in numbers within the current educational institutes will create many challenges; and will impact and disrupt families and the pupils attending these schools in these new boundaries.
The areas that this proposal would change will separate families/kin from one another and will have a negative impact on families already struggling to find appropriate child care.
The new proposal will also shift movement of opposing groups within that area, that will create significant disruption to this community and other counties, and Ontario as a whole.
Revision of the proposed changes is needed.
