I understand how the approximate Electoral District (ED) size is determined. What I would like to know is if the new ED size takes into account that Universities and Colleges reside in an ED and have a significant impact on the number of voters in the ED?
For Example the proposed size of London Centre is approximately 124000. If you add the 30000+ students from Western University, the population of London Centre balloons to over 150000 potential voters.
This issue occurs in many others ridings across the province.
If the commission hasn't already considered this, please do so.
