My husband George Robinson and I have owned and lived in our home in the Borough of Ville Marie since 1981. My husband as a Business Man and myself as a Health Care Professional working in the neighbourhood since 1973.
We have been actively engaged these many years in the life of Peter McGill, which encompasses the Golden Square Mile and Shaughnessy Village. The proposed changes dividing Peter McGill into three different Federal Ridings does Not follow the natural history of our sector of Montreal!
I would suggest that you give the Old Montreal portion of our Riding back to the Laurier-Sainte-Marie Riding where it historically belongs; and leave the rest of our riding including Ile des Soeurs, The Golden Square Mile and Shaughnessy Village as they belong; with Ville Marie.
