It's insane that ridings this large can even be considered, the system is already biased against rural and smaller communities with our voices and way of life rarely being considered and policies driven by satisfying urban populations that have no understanding of realities and values outside of cities. Continuing down this path will essentially wipe out any effective impact our votes has and generally disenfranchise the rural electorate. There needs to be some limit imposed on the size of a riding, both federally and provincially, regardless of population.
